Position Description

 

The Commercial Director will be responsible for all planning and marketing activities within the product line or project assigned. Must provide strategic support to General Manager as well as the Regional Director/ Area VP on projects assigned. This position is also responsible for coordinating functions such as Market Access, HEOR, Scientific Affairs and Strategic Marketing together with China GM and HQ.

 

Summary of Key Responsibilities:

 

Work closely with General Manager and Key Managers in China, coordinate with the Marketing and Strategic Group at HQ.

 

Support and Influence marketing groups and Strategy groups to accomplish assigned goals.

 

Responsible for Market access / HEOR strategy aligning with China Expansion strategies.

 

Reporting responsibility of overall commercial activities in China to Region/Area and HQ.

 

Evaluate potential customer and distributor relationships.

 

Manage business with integrity and in accordance to the client’s Code of Business Conduct.

 

Maintain expenses within budget.

 

Candidate Profile

 

Work Experience & Abilities Required:

 

Must have Marketing or BD background, knowledge of economics, and the ability to work in teams.

 

A basic understanding of the technical aspects of the job is preferred.

 

Prior experience in Sales is preferred.

 

Education:

 

Bachelors Degree Required, MBA preferred.

 

Language Abilities:

 

Fluency in English and Chinese language skills is preferable.
