Position Description


This position is responsible for analyzing and targeting specific Asia Pacific markets that will support our client’s emerging market expansion plan.  He/she will establish, meet and exceed growth targets in these select regions through development and close collaboration with all relevant channels of distribution.


Summary of Key Responsibilities:


Develop and execute the strategy to expand their business in the targeted Asia Pacific


Responsible for setting the financial and business plan


Responsible for product launches in selected markets


Set metrics, monitor and track performance


As the business evolves, select, develop and manage a focused sales team and, as indicated, local distributors


Provide direction and input on product development and positioning to marketing and R&D


Candidate Profile


Work Experience & Abilities Required:


Minimum of 10 years sales experience in FMCG (prefer non-food category), or private label industry


Experience managing distributors in multiple Asia Pacific markets


Management experience is preferred (not a must)


Demonstrated history of success establishing and growing a consumer oriented healthcare business. A regional expert


Successful experience in developing sales lead and building distribution network


Understands the global landscape for regulatory compliance, product registration, labeling in the targeted Asia Pacific markets


Skilled at financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, analysis and development of business scenarios


Capable of developing tactical execution plans. Comfortable working in a very hands-on and entrepreneurial environment


Track record of meeting and beating plan


Clear understanding of specific market differences and how to approach them


Excellent communication skills, written and verbal


High integrity


Able to travel extensively




Bachelors degree or above with MBA preferred.


Language Abilities:


Fluent in spoken and written English.
