Position Description

 

General Responsibilities

 

Coordinating all proceedings of HR functions e.g. personnel development, controlling and strategic processes with International HR (according to RASCI Matrix)

 

Reporting to the Country Head, with a dotted line to Director International HRM

 

Provide the Business with a full HR service identifying and implementing those requirements necessary to support the achievement of business objectives

 

Contribute to the overall management being a member of the Management Team

 

Manage the Human Resources function encompassing:

 

Training and development

 

Talent management

 

Recruitment and selection

 

Reward management

 

Salary benchmarking

 

Employee Relations

 

Payroll and benefits administration

 

Terms and conditions of employment

 

Succession/manpower planning

 

Appraisals

 

Pension scheme management and administration

 

Prepared, and able, to work on all aspects of the HR function from basic HR administration through to the development and implementation of HR strategy (deep knowledge of the business)

 

Responsible for the development and implementation of the group policies, following a close coordination with our clients International HR department

 

Securing an always up-to-date state of knowledge regarding all HR related topics and HR measures

 

Consulting of all executives regarding HR relevant guidelines and leadership instruments, e.g. Target Bonus Agreements

 

Clarify and consult in Labor law and trade union relevant topics

 

Being a partner and consultant of the executives during transformation processes of their departments as well as support and clarification of HR relevant questions during the process

 

Observation and securing of personnel planning incl. support, integration and re-entry of international assignees

 

Processing of and structuring all international assignment within the region and worldwide, based on our clients International Assignment Policies and local laws and regulations

 

Portray our client as an attractive employer by establishing and maintaining contacts with High Schools, Universities, etc.

 

Personal Controlling

 

Analysis of HR relevant KPI’s, derive from department related solutions and recommendations in front of the executives

 

Executive support regarding preparation of department/ company related personnel planning

 

Support of executives regarding optimization of employee deployment (considering the different resources: own staff, temporary, external) e.g. through pre and post processing of status rounds, implementation of new working time models and analysis of overtime hours

 

Staffing/ Hiring process

 

Conduct job analysis as required; prepare and maintain accurate job descriptions for all positions

 

Handle all phases of the recruiting, hiring and (internal) transfer process.  Prepare requests from Managers, initiate search for candidates, job postings, facilitate the interview process, set up appropriate testing, assessment, evaluation and recommendation

 

Providing personnel data of all employees in SAP

 

Process support and implementation, from requirement process until coordination of the personnel request form until quick and effective staffing according to the requested quality

 

Personnel Development

 

Identification of personnel development needs via process orientated measures

 

Knowledge about locally based training providers and our clients international training series. Decision-making on a case-by-case basis whether training needs can be covered by local training providers or by our clients training series

 

Knowledge about client specific and general personnel development instruments and systems. Application of personnel development instruments in close collaboration with PD experts

 

Candidate Profile

 

Work Experience & Abilities Required:

 

Very good technical knowledge and practical experience of the HR function is essential (min 5 years)

 

Good influencing skills

 

Good technical skills in SAP HR Module

 

Excellent relationship builder at all levels, internally and externally

 

Previous exposure to working successfully with demanding senior and influential employees

 

Country specific payroll knowledge

 

Good presentational skills

 

Clear and logical thinker

 

Precise communicator in written and oral situations

 

Sound Employment Law knowledge

 

Payroll practices and procedures

 

Reward management processes and practices
