Position Description


Based in Shanghai and reporting to the Global CFO (also based in Shanghai), a summary of key responsibilities is as follows:


Liaison with overseas Tax Managers independently and coordinate the assignment of headquarters.


Communicate with overseas business leaders and give professional support in tax field.


Assist in making the tax policy regarding Transfer Pricing.  Responsible for the management of Advance Pricing System and preparation of related documents.


Liaison with external tax consultant and follow up.


Direct and review the tax related documents submitted from oversea branches.


Keep up to date on the latest international tax policies, analyze their influences on the global business and submit updated proposals to the management team.


Provide consultancy and training to internal staff.


Candidate Profile


Work Experience & Abilities Required:


Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in MNC /international accounting firm/tax firm, 2 years of which must be in charge of oversea tax.


Manufacturing experience essential.


CTA or CPA holder will be considered as a definite advantage.


Sound knowledge re structuring, planning, VAT in addition to strong understanding of international taxation including USA and EU (transfer pricing, withholding tax, thin cap etc).


Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, which are reflected by the ability to motivate the team and manage people in addition to working successfully with Peers and Superiors.


Hands-on, self-driven and can-do attitude.




Degree in tax, accounting, finance or related disciplines. Masters is preferred.


Language Abilities:


Fluent in both spoken and written English & Mandarin Chinese.
