Position Description

 

Our client is a global leader in renewal energy industry with ambitious growth goals.  To ensure the continued success of the Company, talent and leadership development is one of the key enablers.  This role is a key member of the global HR leadership team.   Its main responsibilities are: work with CEO and CHO to develop and implement global Learning and Development strategies and programs, foster a talent driven organization; identify and develop leadership talent at all levels of the organization; build deep talent pool and bench strength across all geographies and functions to support the rapid global growth and sustainable development.

 

Summary of Key Responsibilities:

 

Plan and Develop Learning and Development Initiatives/Strategies

 

Develop and implement company’s learning and development policies and procedures and ensures its effective implementation

 

Play a key role in establishing a Leadership Academy for the Company.  Leadership Academy will be under the direct leadership of CEO and CHO

 

Build up a leading edge learning and development system that includes the curriculum system, internal trainer system, evaluation system, development system and key external partnerships

 

Leveraging the latest mobile learning technologies and other learning technologies to enable the development of a Global Learning Organization

 

Work with CEO, CHO, Business and Functional leaders in identifying, formulating and compiling the L&D plan and calendar for employees and leadership development within country. This includes conducting Learning Needs Analysis (LNA), develop and implement proposed L&D interventions

 

Responsible for scoping and developing the most appropriate intervention and delivery model of employee and leadership development within the Company. Contextualize to meet business needs by adapting existing curriculum with business-specific examples, activities and tone

 

Provide advisory in the selection of internal trainers / local providers and the development of learning contents

 

Publicize and update L&D Calendar and rollout L&D interventions

 

Manage the global learning and development function

 

Candidate Profile

 

Work Experience & Abilities Required:

 

Minimum 8 years of learning and development experience in sizeable multinational companies

 

Experience in talent identification and development within a global context

 

Ability to think and operate strategically, good business acumen

 

Detailed knowledge of adult education requirements with a strong ability to influence and lead in a L&D intervention

 

Strong program management experience (i.e. planning, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple projects/task, evaluation and tracking skills)

 

Strong training and facilitation skills, supported by exemplary presentation and communication capabilities as well as developed consulting abilities

 

Proven track record in training needs analysis, soft-skills training, leadership development and career development

 

Has tenacity and the ability to prioritize tasks

 

Hands on, self-motivated, energetic, teamwork, trustworthy, influencing skill and communicative

 

Communicate and develop relationships across all levels of an organization and cross culturally

 

Comfortable with the application of technology for learning solutions

 

Familiarity with current e-Learning technologies and other software, including Microsoft Office

 

Language Abilities:

 

Proficiency in both spoken and written English is a must.
