Position Description


Under general supervision, the Regional Sales Head – NE Asia is responsible for providing sales and marketing for the company with the initial focus on ensuring rapid sales growth in the Oil Refining and Petrochemicals segment of the business, specifically in Japan, Taiwan and S.Korea.  Regional Sales Head will be responsible to manage current and future sales agents in the region and re-energize their efforts to drive and develop sales opportunities in the respective regions including building a business plan in China to expand into potential markets.


Summary of Key Responsibilities:


Develop and maintain sales plan within the region.


Meet or exceed sales objectives.


Establish and maintain industry contacts that lead to sales.


Manage assigned customer accounts within the CRM system.


Participate in the development of market strategies and goals by obtaining and coordinating data and information through research and developing lists of potential customers.


Maintain up-to-date understanding of industry trends and technical developments that affect the market.


Provide accurate and timely sales forecasts.


Ensure customer satisfaction with proper follow up/reporting.


Deliver effective sales presentations; focus is on educating the customer on the product portfolio and its impact on their process.


Act as liaison between customer and operations for job preparation.


Assist in the preparation of project P&L’s and quotations.


Develop and maintains communications in a cooperative and professional manner with all levels of staff and customers.


Observe good housekeeping and safety habits; follow company policies and procedures.


Perform other duties as assigned.


Candidate Profile


Work Experience & Abilities Required:


Must have a strong technical background, specifically working with industrial heating or petroleum companies in order to trouble shoot and recommend solutions.


Maintains up-to-date working knowledge of newly developed technologies and manufacturing practices that affect the industries that the company serves.


Financial experience.


Strong contacts and relationships with key customers.


Maintains good working knowledge of industry served by the company.


Excellent communication skills in order to work with a wide variety of individuals at all levels ranging from corporate presidents to technicians.


Well developed sales and presentations skills (technical).


Excellent customer relation skills.


Proficient with computers and related software (Word, Power Point, Excel, email, internet, and CRM software).




B.A. or B.S, with 5 to 10 years of field sales in related market.
