Position Description


Summary of Key Responsibilities:


Recruiting – Identify staff vacancies and recruit, interview and select applicants; analyze, plan, manage recruitment programs and the hiring process to ensure that HR service provided meets the needs of company’s business.


Retention – Development and implementation of practices and ways of working to ensure staff satisfaction and engagement.


Salary and Benefits – advising on remuneration issues, including promotion and benefits, undertaking annual salary reviews; negotiating with staff on issues relating to pay and conditions; maintaining records relating to staff and interpreting and advising on employment legislation; advising, implementation and tracking of all employee benefits, all in accordance with local legislations and Group policies.


Employment legislation – ensure professional advice and management support on local labor legislations issues.


Training – analyzing training needs in conjunction with departmental managers and Group HR, planning and sometimes delivering training, including inductions for new staff.


Performance Management – lead annual assessment process.


Policy Recommendation working closely with departments, increasingly in a consultancy role, assisting line managers to understand and implement policies and procedures.


Candidate Profile


Work Experience & Abilities Required:


Strong background in multinational companies of similar size, European or American companies is preferred.


Minimum 5 years of HR & Admin management position with similar tasks in an industrial environment.


Proven perfect performance records in her/his previous employers.


Personal Qualifications:


Minimum of 3-5 years HR / recruitment experience


A self-starter who is achievement and action results orientated


A professional and commercial approach to HR


Excellent relationship-builder with the ability to be credible at all levels of seniority


Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion


High level of integrity


IT literate


Excellent written and verbal communication / interpersonal skills


Pragmatic, business focused and solution orientated


Comfortable working for the China subsidiary of a global company (based in Sweden)




Relevant university degree.


Language Abilities:


Good command of both written and spoken English.
