Dwight E. Foster


Dwight E. Foster, is a native of Minnesota who transferred to New York City in 1980. He retired as a consulting partner from KPMG Peat Marwick LLP in January 1990 to form Foster Partners. He has spent his business career in the consulting industry, and for the past twelve years, has headed Foster Partners Asia as Chairman.


Dwight Foster is a University of Minnesota Alumnus, the father of two adult children, and is married to Dorothy Choitz Foster, a well-known journalist and consultant to the cosmetics and fragrance industry.


Dwight Foster has been published in management studies and magazine articles and has been quoted numerous times in the national press. His experience in the practice of executive search and familiarity with organization and business models over the past thirty years provided the motivation to start writing. Shattered Covenants is his first series of novels, which represents an eight year writing project dealing with the passing of leadership in a professional services firm. This series of 7 novels narrate the formation, rise, decline, and fall of McKenzie Barber, a fictional global management consulting firm.

After the completion of the Shattered Covenants series, Foster expanded his style of writing by producing standalone novels based around subject matters outside of those covered in his previous series. To date he has written 4 novels since the Shattered Covenants series. The latest, titled “Rajah’s Follies”, was published in March 2010 and marked his eleventh novel as an author.
