In 2008, Global Sales exceeded US $30 billion with over 100,000 associates employed at more than 300 offices and facilities globally.  In China, their operations are fully integrated with a total company investment of over RMB 3 billion.
Job Description
The client is currently searching for a Marketing Manager who improves the growth of business through effective marketing programs.  The position is suitable for an individual who is seeking:

Summary of Responsibilities
The incumbent will report to the Director of Sales & Marketing and be responsible for:
  • Contribute to the facilitation of all activities necessary to achieve sales and profit goals of each designated product category, balance firm objectives and customer satisfaction in an effort to ensure growth in volume and profit.
  • Specify market requirements for current and future products by conducting market research and analyzing information.
  • Develop tailor-made marketing strategy and prepare competitive operational marketing plans (an annual marketing plan includes financial reviews and graphic presentations) which meet organizational objectives.
  • Create new products and coordinate introductions with Purchasing, QA, R&D, Sales, etc.
  • Manage the entire product line life cycle from strategic planning to tactical activities which includes inventory, packaging, financial and distribution channels.
  • Supervise the prototype development, analyze weekly sales information in regards to velocity, cost, and profitability and choose the best solution and solve problems.
  • Other duties include training internal and external personnel and assisting customers in solving problems and/or answering complaints, monitoring production and inventory levels of key items to ensure adequate amounts are available to meet customer needs, and performing other responsibilities as the need arises.
  • Using their knowledge of principles and methods for promoting and selling products or services. This could consist of marketing strategy and tactics, product demonstration, sales techniques, and sales control systems.
  • Develop processes for providing customer and personal services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
  • Develop business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, leadership technique, production methods, and coordination of people and resources.
  • Utilizing media production, communication, and dissemination techniques and methods to help market our client.  This includes alternative ways to inform and entertain via written, oral, and visual media.
Work Experience and Abilities Required
  • 8 plus years or equivalent experience in marketing industry, food services preferred.  Experience in marketing or business development is beneficial.
  • Experience with enterprise software solutions and large, complex organizations.
  • Extensive experience in all aspects of developing and maintaining marketing strategies to meet organizational objectives.
  • Strong understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements.
  • Proven ability to oversee all marketing, advertising and promotional staff and activities.
  • Communicate and cooperate effectively with all supporting departments and company employees.
  • Build trust, value others, drive execution, foster innovation, focus on customer, collaborate with others, solve problems creatively and demonstrate high integrity.
  • Maintain professional internal and external relationships that meet company core values.
  • Willingness to travel and work in a global team of professionals.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and the Internet. Including: generating spreadsheet or word processing macros, developing templates, preparing complex graphic presentations with PPT, conducting online search, etc.
