Job Description
The client is currently searching for a Supply Chain Manager.  The position is suitable for an individual who is seeking:

Summary of Responsibilities
The incumbent will report to the General Manager and be responsible for:
  • To direct, supervise or personally execute all Purchasing, Logistics, Warehousing, Transportation, Distribution, Supply Planning, Demand Planning and Customer Service activities with the focus on balancing demand, producing constraint forecast and maximizing supply chain efficiencies.
  • Responsible for plan adherence, fill rate, finished and WIP inventories and the perfect order rate.
  • Assist GM in integrating departmental objectives into the overall business plan and establishing efficient, safe and cost effective supply chain.
  • Coordinate Enterprise Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process and lead the volume/product mix budget planning process.
  • Supervise production planners/schedulers, buyers, distribution and warehousing managers, customer service representatives and others.
Work Experience and Abilities Required
  • 8 + Years experience in Supply Chain management is mandatory.
  • Intermediate to advanced computer skills, including ability to utilize statistical planning software.
  • Willing to frequently travel between Shanghai and Haimen, occasional international travel for training or business.
Personal Characteristics and Skills
  • Strong analytical problem solving skills and be able to work independently.
  • Leadership and decision making. Ability to influence without formal authority.  Act as a uniting force within the organization.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Can-do attitude and open minded. Good team player with other departments.
Education
Bachelor's degree or above; solid understanding of statistics is a must.  APICS (The Association for Operations Management) certification or equivalent strongly preferred.
